Employment advice

Description

Shaw Trust are a non-profit organisation delivering an employment support provision known as Working Win. Supporting people with physical and mental health conditions get back into paid employment. We are based in South Yorkshire, supporting residents over the age of 16. We support people by following a model known as Individual Placement and Support (IPS) which has proven to be successful in helping those with health barriers find and sustain work. We offer support to job seekers over 8 months, with an additional 4 months of support when they start employment. The support we offer is person-centered and varies depending on an individual’s needs, this is assessed during the initial appointment and actions are set following that. The programme is free and voluntary.
